Measuring channel КD8700

KD8700-11-11-15Measuring channel КD8700, which consists of vibration transducer КD8708 and secondary vibration transducer КD8713, is designed for continuous transformation of mechanical vibration into electric signals.

Measuring channel KD8700 can be applied for the measurement of absolute vibration, rolling bearings resonance (shock pulses), temperature in the installation site of the primary transducer, of the controlled object, on its own as well as a part of vibration diagnostics and vibration protection automation systems of rotating and reciprocating machines.

The sensor is a piezoelectric vibration transducer with integrated charge amplifier. It is an inertial type of transducer and uses the direct piezoelectric effect. Sensing element electric charge is proportional to vibration acceleration which affects the sensor.

Secondary vibration transducer is an electronic transducer, installed on DIN rail, with current outputs from vibration transducer or from ICP type vibration sensors or with voltage outputs. Transducer electronic part consists of analog and digital microcircuits for a reliable functionality.

Secondary vibration transducer provides 7 outputs: 3 outputs 4-20 mА (rms vibration speed, acceleration peaks and temperature), as well as 1 variable acceleration output and 3 shock pulses output.

The sensor is explosion-proof, it can be installed in explosion hazardous zones and at external installations, where there is a possibility of formation of explosive mixtures, category IIA, IIB, IIC groups Т1-Т6 according to Electric installation code classification, chapter 7.3 «Electric installations in explosion hazardous zones». Sensor mark - 0ExiaIICT4 X.

Secondary transducer of КD8700 measuring channel is referred to group 3 of GOST 22261-94. Climate modification – moderately bold climate 4.2 is acc. to GOST 15150-69. Degree of protection from penetration of solid bodies and water is acc. to GOST 14254-88 IP40. Upper flammable limit is acc. to GOST R 51330.10-99 (МЭК 60079-11-98) and has explosion-proof marking [Exia]IIC.

Technical specifications of the measuring channel КD8700 are proved by the Certificate of compliance № ТС RU C-US.ГБ05.В.00515 (valid from 29.04.2014 till 29.09.2019).
